Basin Wide Foundation is the Morongo Basin’s nonprofit hub — a place where neighbors, nonprofits, small businesses, and local leaders come together to build something bigger than ourselves. We’re rooted here. Our team, board, and affiliates are your neighbors, your friends, your family — the locals behind the locals.

Our story began decades ago when community members recognized that many nonprofits, businesses, and grassroots efforts needed more than passion — they needed structure, guidance, and a helping hand. From those roots, Basin Wide Foundation grew into a connector, a supporter, and a builder of dreams.

 We make it possible for good ideas to become lasting impact.

• Nonprofit Support & Fiscal Sponsorship – We provide accounting, legal, and administrative services so community champions can focus on their mission without worrying about paperwork and red tape.
• Membership & Networking – We connect businesses and nonprofits with resources, marketing exposure, discounted events, and access to tools that strengthen their work.
• Events & Training – From our Annual Awards Celebration to workshops, golf tournaments, and cultural gatherings, we create spaces where collaboration thrives.
• Community Building – At the heart of it all, we are matchmakers of possibility — linking people, organizations, and resources so the Basin can grow stronger together.

Over the years, Basin Wide Foundation has helped bring to life some of the most cherished and impactful projects in our desert communities. Together with our partners, we’ve:

Education & Opportunity

• Served as the affiliate for the Bob Dunn Memorial Scholarship Fund, supporting local students in their educational goals.
• Helped establish the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley, opening doors to resources and regional opportunity.

Youth & Recreation

• Backed Dreams 4 Kids, providing holiday gifts and year-round grants for local children in foster care.
• Sponsored youth sports and recreation through the Brehm Youth Sports Park and Miracle League.
• Partnered with the Youth Sports Park Coalition, providing scholarships, equipment, and support so youth of all abilities can play.

Culture & Community

• Supported Sky’s the Limit Observatory & Nature Center in Twentynine Palms.
• Partnered on grassroots efforts like Bring Back Grubstake Days and many more community celebrations.
