Dreams for Kids supports kids at risk, focusing on quality of life and smiles.

Dreams 4 Kids provides resources to children under the custody of County of San Bernardino Children & Family Services (CFS), which they would not otherwise have.  We provide gifts during the holidays and grants for year round needs such as the cost of developmental or sports activities.  Grants and gifts are given confidentially through County CFS social workers.

Hi-Desert Recreation Center

Hi-Desert Recreation Center

Hi-Desert Memory Recreation Center  (HDMRC) joined Basin Wide Foundation as a new affiliate in 2026 with a vision of creating meaningful support, recreation, and connection for individuals experiencing memory loss, dementia, and cognitive decline — while also supporting the caregivers and families beside them.

Currently in development, the program hopes to provide a safe, welcoming environment centered around social engagement, enrichment activities, creativity, and community connection to help improve quality of life for local families throughout the Morongo Basin.

HDMRC is currently seeking committee members, volunteers, community partners, and supporters to help build this important community resource from the ground up.

Mara's Wish

Hi-Desert Recreation Center

Born from a long-standing local tradition, Mara’s Wish became an official affiliate of Basin Wide Foundation in 2026 and is currently onboarding. The program continues its mission of bringing comfort, joy, and hope to families facing hardship during the holiday season. Through the support of volunteers, donors, and community partners, Mara’s Wish creates meaningful moments that remind families they are not alone.

Miracle League of the Desert

Miracle League of the Desert brings the joy of baseball to children and adults with disabilities across the Morongo Basin. As the only league of its kind in our area, athletes ages 5 and up play on a specially designed rubberized field at Brehm Sports Park—making the game accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, and all abilities.

The season runs each spring and fall, with games played Monday nights under the lights.

Come be part of it—whether you’re playing, volunteering, or just cheering from the sidelines. It’s a perfect family outing, a fun night out, and a reminder that baseball IS for everyone.

29 Palms Music Series Committee

29 Palms Music Series Committee joined Basin Wide Foundation as an affiliate in 2025 with a vision of transforming Freedom Plaza into a vibrant gathering place through the power of free, live music. Shortly after joining, the committee — with support from Basin Wide Foundation — successfully secured a multi-year Levitt AMP Music Series Grant to launch the Levitt AMP 29 Palms Music Series, bringing 30 free concerts to downtown Twentynine Palms over three years.

Led by a volunteer committee of local residents, the series is community-driven from start to finish, coordinating artists, partnerships, and event logistics to create welcoming, family-friendly experiences under the desert sky. The Levitt AMP 29 Palms Music Series recently completed its very first spring concert season and will return for a fall season later this year.

The committee is currently seeking volunteers, artists, vendors, and sponsors to help continue growing this exciting community tradition. Whether gathering with friends, bringing a blanket, or discovering a new favorite artist, each concert celebrates connection, culture, and community in the heart of the Morongo Basin.

Ultra4Next

Ultra4Next joined Basin Wide Foundation as an affiliate in 2025 with a mission to inspire and develop the next generation of off-road racing and motorsports professionals. Designed as an educational and workforce development program, Ultra4Next introduces students and emerging talent to the industry through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world opportunities.

By partnering with race teams, fabricators, media professionals, and industry leaders, participants gain valuable exposure to careers in engineering, fabrication, marketing, media, logistics, and racing. The program helps bridge the gap between passion and profession — creating pathways for young people to explore careers within the growing off-road and motorsports community.

Through education, collaboration, and experiential learning, Ultra4Next is helping fuel the future of the industry while connecting local youth to unique opportunities both on and off the track.
