Miracle League of the Desert is the only baseball league in the Morongo Basin designed for children and adults with disabilities (ages 5+)—where every player gets their moment to shine.

We’re looking for individuals with the experience, passion, and professionalism to help strengthen our organization and guide the future of the Morongo Basin.
Ideal board members bring skills in areas like governance, legal work, finance, nonprofit leadership, or community engagement. They are willing to attend monthly meetings, support our Executive Director, and represent Basin Wide Foundation at community events as we work to improve life and economic vitality throughout the region.
Projects like the California Welcome Center, Brehm Youth Sports Park, Sky’s the Limit Observatory, Morongo Basin Haven, Dreams 4 Kids, and many more are only possible because of dedicated leaders who believe in this mission and choose to serve.

Provides four annual scholarships to Morongo Basin high school seniors pursuing their next chapter after graduation. Established in honor of Bob Dunn — a dedicated community leader and longtime local resident — the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic success, awareness of civic issues, and a desire to contribute to their community.

Volunteer-led committee curates free live music events that bring the community together in downtown Twentynine Palms. They are currently preparing for an upcoming season of concerts featuring diverse artists and vibrant community experiences.
