Our Mission: Partner with individuals, non-profits and local government to improve the life and economic vitality in the Morongo Basin.
Basin Wide Foundation was established in 1996 on a simple belief: when locals stand behind locals, our whole community thrives. For nearly three decades, we’ve been the hub where ideas spark, neighbors connect, and grassroots projects grow into lasting impact.
From scholarships and youth programs to cultural celebrations, holiday traditions, and nonprofit support, we rally the people, resources, and partnerships that keep the Morongo Basin moving forward.
Because at the heart of it all, we’re more than just a foundation — we’re your neighbors, your partners, and your biggest cheerleaders.
Together, we can.

Dreams For Kids, an affiliate of Basin Wide Foundation, is once again spreading holiday cheer to children under the care of San Bernardino County Children and Family Services — children who deserve a little extra joy this season.
Thanks to our amazing community, all 154 children in this year’s program have been paired with a Santa! Your generosity ensures every child will have gifts waiting for them this Christmas.
Still Want to Help?
Even though all children have been matched, we are still accepting donations through our website — or you can mail/drop off a check made out to:

Memo: Dreams 4 Kids
Sometimes a Santa has to step back or new children are added. Your support ensures we’re always ready to keep the magic going.
Important Reminder for Assigned Santas
All gifts are distributed confidentially through County CFS social workers.

For more than 27 years, Basin Wide Foundation has served as the region’s community foundation — providing fiscal sponsorship, nonprofit guidance, training, and hands-on support for the organizations and grassroots leaders who keep our desert thriving. This work is only possible because of the generosity of people like you.
Your Giving Tuesday donation helps us:
• Uplift local nonprofits through resources and capacity-building
• Support community programs and fiscal sponsorship initiatives
• Strengthen youth, family, and senior-serving services
• Build collaborations that bring long-term impact to our rural region
• Continue our mission of connecting people, ideas, and resources across the Basin
Every gift — big or small — creates real change right here at home.
